WILL I HAVE TO RE-ENROLL FOR ONLINE BANKING? CAN I USE MY CURRENT USER ID/LOGIN ID?

If you do NOT have a security token:

You will not have to re-enroll. You may use your current User ID/Login ID, however, it is no longer case sensitive.  Upon initial login, you will be sent an access code to one of the contact numbers or email on file. Once that access code is entered, you will be prompted to create a password.

If you do have a security token (if you use Cash Management services):

You will not have to re-enroll. You may use your current User ID/Login ID, however, it is no longer case sensitive. Upon initial login, you will utilize your security token as your verification method. You will need to generate two separate token numbers. Once you use your security token twice, you will be prompted to create a password.

WHAT IF I HAVE TROUBLE DOWNLOADING STATEMENTS THROUGH THE NEW ONLINE BANKING PLATFORM?

This is a known issue for Chrome and Edge browsers. We recommend the following:

  1. Use a different browser
  2. Point Chrome to use Acrobat for PDF viewing
  3. Instead of downloading, "Print to PDF"

CAN MANAGERS AND EXECUTIVES RECEIVE ALERTS?

Yes, alerts can be set up. Account, Date, History, Insufficient Funds, and Transaction alerts can be established. Alerts can also be delivered via the system's secure mailbox, email, phone, or text. Dual authorization via alerts is available to ensure transactions receive the proper approvals.

THE NEW FGB ONLINE BANKING PLATFORM COMES WITH MANY NEW FEATURES. AS A BUSINESS OR CORPORATE CUSTOMER, WHICH DOES MY COMPANY HAVE ACCESS TO?

As a Business or Corporate customer, you will have access to all the exciting, new features like Biller Direct, Bill Pay and MultiPay. You will not have access to CardSwap and Personal Financial Manager. CardSwap and PFM are offered for personal accounts only.  

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE SECURITY.

Multi-layer security is in place. This means a stratified approach is taken that includes Secure Sign-On across devices (secure access code or SAC code), risk and fraud analytics, multi-factor authorizations including Short Message Service (SMS), challenge codes, rights entitlements, transaction limits, and more.

CAN I DELETE AND ADD USERS TO MY CASH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

If your online banking profile is set up to add users, you will be able to do so. This is typically the case with the Administrator Role. First Guaranty Bank Operations personnel are also happy to help with this task.

HOW MANY USERS MAY I ADD TO MY COMPANY?

You may add as many users as you need to cover all the roles you have assigned to your organization.

CAN DUAL CONTROL BE ENABLED FOR WIRES OR ACH ORIGINATION?

All customers will be transitioned over as they are today. Within 30 days of conversion, each ACH and Wire customer will receive a liability waiver/release form to complete. If you are interested in having or retaining single control, you will be required to sign the waiver, otherwise we will convert you to dual control.

HOW WILL I CREATE AN ACH ORIGINATION OR WIRE TEMPLATE?

You will click on the Commercial section of the left navigation pane in the FGB Online Banking Platform. If your company is enabled for these services, they will appear there.

HOW CAN I INITIATE A WIRE OR ACH ORIGINATION?

You will click on the Commercial section of the left navigation pane in the FGB Online Banking Platform. If your company is enabled for these services, they will appear there.

HOW MAY I INCREASE MY WIRE OR ACH ORIGINATION LIMIT?

For temporary wire or ACH limit increases, you can send a message through the FGB Online Banking secure message portal. There are new categories within the portal to allow you to choose the right team to send your request to directly. Temporary limits are reviewed and approved the same day, permanent changes may require more time, and you will typically need to sign an amendment to your agreement.

WHEN IS THE ACH CUT OFF TIME EACH DAY?

We process all ACH files that are sent in by 4:00 PM.

We will begin offering Same Day ACH in late October. There will be additional fees for this service and an updated ACH Agreement will be required.

WHEN IS THE WIRE TRANSFER CUT OFF TIME EACH DAY?

The cut off time is 2:00 PM daily for domestic wire transfers.

WILL MY CURRENT WIRE TEMPLATES TRANSFER TO THE NEW PLATFORM?

No, wire templates will not convert over. 

WIRE CHECKLIST

MAY I ORIGINATE INTERNATIONAL ACH TRANSACTIONS OR WIRE TRANSFERS INSIDE THE FGB ONLINE BANKING PLATFORM?

At this time, international ACH transactions are not offered with our Online Banking Platform. However, domestic and International wires can still be processed through online banking. The cut off time for wire transfers is 2:00 PM CST.

WHAT IS POSITIVE PAY?

Positive Pay is a feature that can be enabled for your company that can help you monitor your account for unauthorized checks or ACH transactions. You can upload your issued checks file or create ACH rules, which will cause exceptions to reject for your review. You can then decide whether to pay the items or return the items. The deadline for these decisions will be 8:00AM, 11:00AM and 4:00PM.

In addition to Positive Pay, we will also offer Payee Match Positive Pay. Payee Match is a software program that works essentially the same as Positive Pay, with the additional matching of the Payee Name to the customer's list of checks issued.

HOW MAY I CREATE A TAX PAYMENT INSIDE THE FGB ONLINE BANKING PLATFORM?

You will click on the Commercial section of the left navigation pane. Then select Tax Payment. Select either Federal or State and the type of payment you wish to make. Payments will be processed multiple times each day, with the last process being at 4:00 PM CST.

Reminder: You must first register with the IRS or state agency to send a tax payment file. If this isn’t done, your file will be rejected.

IF I SEND A TAX PAYMENT VIA CASH MANAGEMENT, WHEN WILL IT BE RECEIVED? WILL I GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER?

You will select the payment effective date when you are setting up the payment. The system will give you a message that your payment has been set up successfully (or if there is missing information, it will alert you).

WILL MY COMPANY’S INVESTMENT ACCOUNT SHOW IN THE NEW FGB ONLINE BANKING PLATFORM?

Yes, any investment programs such as CDARS and Reich & Tang, that you currently participate in will now be available – all in one platform.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING ZBA (ZERO BALANCE ACCOUNT) AND LINE OF CREDIT ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS:

Please be aware these specific accounts will now reflect in your available balances.  

I RECEIVED THIS ALERT WHEN ACCESSING BILL PAY. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

When utilizing our new Bill Pay, you may encounter this alert. This is NOT an error. It is simply a message alerting you that when Apple rolls out their newest version of Safari, users may experience some issues due to the update. To make this alert go away: you will want to click the checkbox at the bottom left of the screen, “Do not show me again” and then click “Submit”. For additional assistance with Bill Pay, please call 1-866-716-5024.
