First Guaranty Bank offers a range of services that help protect you and your investments. How Your Deposits are Protected
Peace of Mind
Your money is eligible for FDIC insurance at IntraFi® network banks. Feel secure knowing that your principal and the interest it earns are protected from market volatility. You don't have to sacrifice safety for returns!
We do the work for you! You don't have to worry about keeping up with multiple accounts, multiple bank relationships, and consolidating multiple statements just to keep your money safe and secure. Eliminate the need to track constantly changing collateral values.
Access Your Money
When funds are placed into CDs through CDARS®, YOU get to choose the maturity (maturities range from 4 weeks - 3 years). If you place money into demand deposit accounts or money market deposit accounts, you can initiate a deposit or withdrawal on any business day. Plus, you'll have 24/7 online access to information regarding your balances, transactions, interest, and other reporting associated with your account(s).
If you have questions about your coverage, would like to learn more about FDIC coverage and how it works, or want to know more about how First Guaranty Bank helps to safeguard your deposits, visit your local FGB branch to talk to a banker or call our Customer Support Center at 888-375-3093.
Deposit placement through CDARS or ICS is subject to the terms, conditions, and disclosures in applicable agreements. Although deposits are placed in increments that do not exceed the FDIC standard maximum deposit insurance amount (“SMDIA”) at any one destination bank, a depositor’s balances at the institution that places deposits may exceed the SMDIA (e.g., before settlement for deposits or after settlement for withdrawals) or be uninsured (if the placing institution is not an insured bank). The depositor must make any necessary arrangements to protect such balances consistent with applicable law and must determine whether placement through CDARS or ICS satisfies any restrictions on its deposits. A list identifying IntraFi network banks appears at www.intrafi.com/network-banks. The depositor may exclude banks from eligibility to receive its funds. IntraFi, CDARS, and ICS are registered service marks of IntraFi Network LLC.
