Hammond, LA, January 29, 2024 – The First Guaranty Bank Kentwood, LA branch is officially re-open! Located at 301 Avenue F in Kentwood, Louisiana, the newly remodeled FGB branch is still a full-service banking branch and ready to serve the community with its new look Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with drive up banking hours on Saturday from 8:30 AM – 12 PM.

Kent Design Build, Inc. (Mandeville, LA) began the remodel of this iconic community building in the Spring of 2023. According to Mike Parham, SVP of Construction/Facilities/Purchasing at First Guaranty Bank, the original building was constructed in 1975 and was designed by Curtis and Davis Architects and Engineers in New Orleans, Louisiana. They designed more than four hundred buildings in the United States and nine countries worldwide, including the Super Dome in New Orleans.

The redesign was done by Gasaway, Gasaway and Bankston (GG&B) Architects in Hammond, Louisiana with a special focus on reconnecting with the original intent of the building design and creating something special for downtown Kentwood, said Parham.
