Hammond, LA, March 1, 2021 —First Guaranty Bank is proud to welcome Matthew Wise as Chief Credit Officer. Wise is from Minden, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University for both his Bachelor’s degree in which he graduated as Cum Laude     in Economics and his Master’s degree in Finance. He joins First  Guaranty Bank with 19 years of banking experience, most recently serving as a Credit Process Manager for Regions Bank and with two Army Commendation Medals after serving as a Captain from 1994-1999.
