First Guaranty Bank (FGB) is proud to welcome Scheila M. Davis, AAP as new Vice President of Operations. Davis joins First Guaranty Bank with over 25 years of banking experience. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and attended the Mississippi School of Banking. Additionally, she completed the Louisiana Banking Association’s Leadership School in 2016 and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).

First Guaranty Bank CEO, Alton Lewis, praised the value added to First Guaranty Bank’s team upon Davis’ arrival. “Scheila was referred to us as a great addition to First Guaranty. Several members of our management met with her separately to talk with her. Everyone came back and said, ‘We have to have her.’  That is how good she is and how much she has to offer to the customers of First Guaranty.”

On her part, Davis expressed her enthusiasm about joining a community bank dedicated to excellence. “It is a privilege to work with other bankers that share common values and vision. I am very excited to be part of the First Guaranty Bank Team.”
